What you receive, how you can use it, and the responsibilities that come with running your own system.

Who these terms cover
Solum OS is operated by Daniel Marthi (referred to here as “Solum OS”, “we” or “us”). Contact us at daniel@getsolumos.com. These terms describe use of our website and the software and services we offer.
The product description and checkout terms presented when you order also form part of your purchase. Where a checkout provider acts as the merchant of record, its buyer terms govern the payment transaction. Nothing here limits rights that applicable consumer law gives you.
The product and delivery
Solum OS is premade, downloadable productivity software. The advertised package includes the application and source code, an AI deployment prompt and setup guidance. It is a one-time purchase of the specified release, rather than a subscription to a managed hosting service.
Released digital products provide access to the complete purchased files after successful payment, subject to the checkout provider’s delivery process. Pre-orders are different: if a listing says pre-order, the complete product is delivered on the release schedule stated in that listing. Buying a pre-order does not mean the finished product has already been delivered.
Review the requirements and product description before buying. Future features, releases, ongoing support or updates are included only to the extent promised in your listing or required by law.
Using and customizing your copy
Your purchase grants you a non-exclusive right to download, run and modify the supplied software for your own personal or internal business use, subject to any more specific license supplied with your purchase. You can use an AI coding assistant to adapt your copy.
You own the data you put into your system. Receiving source code does not transfer the intellectual property in the original Solum OS product. Unless we separately agree in writing, you may not redistribute, resell or sublicense the supplied application, source code or guides as a product, or make the paid download publicly available. Third-party and open-source components keep their own licenses.
Setup and optional consultations
You are responsible for your own hosting, database, AI-provider accounts, access permissions, backups and deployment choices. Third-party charges are separate, and those providers’ terms apply to their services. Review AI-generated changes before using them.
We may also offer an optional one-time setup consultation as a separate package. It is not included in the standard software purchase unless the listing expressly says so. Availability, scope, price, scheduling and any cancellation conditions will be agreed before booking. A consultation does not imply ongoing hosting, maintenance or unlimited custom development.
Service packages must use a checkout provider that permits those services. Do not send account passwords or private keys by email; any access needed for an agreed session should be limited to that work.
Payments and refunds
The price, currency, applicable taxes and delivery details shown at checkout apply to your order. The website currently links to Gumroad for pre-orders. Any additional checkout option will be identified before you pay.
There is no unconditional money-back guarantee for delivered digital products. We review refund requests individually and issue refunds when the reasons are valid and the request is approved, as explained in our Refund Policy. Mandatory consumer rights and the checkout provider’s applicable buyer protections remain in place.
Responsible use and your data
Use the software lawfully and do not use our website to interfere with other users, attempt unauthorized access or distribute harmful content. Keep backups of your work, protect credentials and check that your chosen deployment meets your needs.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle website, purchase and support information. Data in a copy you host is managed through the accounts and services you choose.
Product limitations and your rights
We do not promise that the software will meet every individual preference, that AI output will always be correct, or that third-party services will be available without interruption. Modifications you make can change how your copy works.
These limitations do not excuse us from supplying what was described and agreed, or remove remedies for missing, faulty or misdescribed digital content. We do not exclude liability or consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded. Contact us if a product issue needs to be resolved.
Changes and questions
We may update these terms for future use and purchases, showing the new date on this page. Changes do not retroactively reduce rights attached to an existing order. Contact us with an order reference if you need the terms relevant to your purchase or want to raise a concern.
