Questions before you build your system.

Straight answers about what Solum is, what setup involves, what you own and how the one-time pricing works.

The product

What exactly is Solum OS?

Solum OS is a complete personal productivity web application delivered as a ZIP file with its source code, a complete AI deployment prompt and a video setup guide. It connects tasks, projects, notes, habits, calendar, goals, life areas and AI in one system.

Is this a Notion template?

No. Solum is working software with its own interface, application behavior and data model. You receive the source code needed to run and change your own copy.

Can I use it without customizing everything?

Yes. Solum starts as a complete application. You can use the foundation as supplied and only change the parts that matter to you.

Setup and skills

Do I need to know how to code?

You do not need professional coding experience. You should be comfortable following the step-by-step video, working with an AI coding assistant and reviewing changes before accepting them.

What does beginner-ready mean?

It means you start with the complete app, paste a supplied deployment prompt into your preferred AI and follow a video guide with clear checkpoints for setup and onboarding.

Is setup one click?

No. Solum is an owned application, not a managed SaaS account. Your AI performs the technical setup while you follow the video, connect your accounts and approve each stage.

Ownership and AI

Where does Solum run?

Your copy can run locally or through compatible infrastructure you control. The recommended beginner path uses GitHub, Vercel and Supabase.

Who owns the data?

You control the service accounts and database used by your instance. The terms of any third-party provider still apply.

Which AI services can I use?

Solum is designed for model choice and compatible external assistants. Exact support depends on your provider, plan and setup, so compatibility should be checked rather than assumed.

Pricing

Is Solum a subscription?

No. Solum OS is a one-time purchase. There is no recurring Solum OS fee.

How does pre-order pricing work?

The first 5 pre-orders are $39, the next 10 are $79, and the full one-time price at launch is $149. Your checkout price is locked and the complete product is delivered at launch.

Can third-party services cost extra?

Yes. Hosting, database and AI providers may offer free or paid plans. Their pricing is separate from the Solum OS purchase.
